Maria is a London-based creative producer and writer. She loves working with themes of queer identity and folklore, and is a big fan of magical realism. She’s interested in new writing, and creating a community for creatives to come together for accountability, feedback, and inspiration. 

 

She is the co-Artistic Director of 'Hey Thanks! Theatre Collective'.

 a queer and women-led theatre company based in London/Edinburgh.  Since launching in 2022, Hey Thanks! has produced three Edinburgh Fringe Productions, toured throughout the UK, and continues to host a calendar of community events for emerging artists across Edinburgh and London.  You can find more information on their website or on their Instagram @heythankstheatreco​.
